Milano Healthcare Solutions known as “Milano” was established in 2006, and today is one of South Africa’s leading importer, exporter and distributor of medical and surgical disposables, hospital equipment and devices to private, government hospitals and health centres/clinics.  The company was solely formed by a previously disadvantaged African woman who is now a qualified marketing professional, focusing on the needs of South African healthcare industry. Milano has been awarded numerous government deals (tenders) in South Africa and has recently been successful in other African countries. The company believes in pure equity and all its products are well accepted throughout the country in all major hospitals, clinics and laboratories.

Based on Milano’s high standards and prestigious brands, the company was head hunted and approached by an international surgical suture and ligature manufacturing company to be their sole distributor of their Dolphin Brands in South Africa and neighboring countries. Their main aim is to transfer their manufacturing skills to our company. Since its inception, the company has grown rapidly and surged ahead providing a comprehensive range of products. Milano boasts a 1000 square metre warehouse in Centurion, Pretoria and is currently in search of vacant industrial land to build a customized, state of the art medical manufacturing and sterilization facilities.
